Convert Apple Pages to an editable Word document

Pages and Word do not open each other's files, so a document written on a Mac often has to be rewritten before a colleague on Windows can edit it. Pages to Word converts a .pages file into a standard DOCX that opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs and every other word processor, with the text fully editable and the formatting kept.

Upload the .pages file and the conversion keeps what matters for further editing: paragraph and character styles, headings, bold and italic runs, lists, tables, images, footnotes, headers, footers and page setup. Every generation of the Apple iWork format is accepted, from Pages '09 documents to files saved by the newest Pages on macOS, iOS or iCloud. Comments and tracked changes stored in the Pages file are not carried into the DOCX, and fonts that only exist on Apple devices are substituted by the program that opens the result.

The file is processed on our servers over a secure connection and deleted within 60 minutes. A password-protected document cannot be converted until the password is removed in Pages. Check the result once in Word for layout that depended on Apple-only fonts or on floating objects anchored to a page; everything else is ready to edit.
