Export every table of an Apple Numbers file as CSV
CSV is the format that databases, statistics packages, import wizards and scripts all understand, and it is the one thing a .numbers file cannot be fed into directly. Numbers to CSV exports the data from an Apple Numbers spreadsheet as comma-separated values, one file per table, ready for any tool that reads CSV.
Upload the .numbers file. A spreadsheet with a single table comes back as one .csv file; a spreadsheet with several sheets or tables comes back as a ZIP archive holding one CSV per table, named after the sheet and the table so you can tell them apart. Cells are written with their values, not their formulas: a total stays the total, a date is written in ISO form (2026-03-14) so it sorts and imports correctly, numbers keep their full precision without currency symbols or thousands separators, and text is quoted where it contains commas or line breaks. Header rows are included as the first line of each file. The output is UTF-8 encoded, so names and notes in any language survive the trip.
Files from the current Numbers and from Numbers '09 are accepted; a password-protected spreadsheet must be unlocked in Numbers first. The conversion runs on our servers and the upload is deleted within 60 minutes. If you need formatting, merged cells or live formulas rather than raw data, use Numbers to Excel; for a printable copy, use Numbers to PDF.
