Resize Image

Resize images by pixels, percentage, or target file size in KB. Batch resize multiple images at once.

Resize an image online by pixels, percent, or target file size

A product listing wants an 800 by 800 square, a form wants a photo under 200 KB, and your camera hands you neither. Resize Image lets you set an exact width and height in pixels, scale everything by a percentage, or tell it the file size in kilobytes you need and let it work backward from there. Add several images at once and resize them together instead of repeating the same steps file by file.

The tool changes actual pixel dimensions, not just the file wrapper, so a smaller output really is a smaller image. Keep aspect ratio is on by default, which stops faces and logos from stretching sideways when you only fill in one of the width or height fields. Turn it off if you need an exact box regardless of shape. A target size in KB overrides whatever width, height, or percentage you typed, since hitting a byte budget usually means shrinking the pixel count too.

Check the result at full size before you use it, since squeezing a photo down to a very small target will soften fine detail. If you want to make an image larger instead of smaller, use Upscale Image, which is built for that direction. Files you upload here are removed automatically well within the hour, and nothing about the image beyond size changes.
