Keynote to JPG

Save every slide of an Apple Keynote presentation as a JPG or PNG image.

Save every Keynote slide as a JPG or PNG image

Slides are often wanted as pictures: a thumbnail for a course page, a screenshot for a blog post, an image to paste into a document. Keynote to JPG renders every slide of an Apple Keynote presentation as an image, without a Mac and without exporting from Keynote by hand.

Upload the .key file and choose JPG or PNG. JPG gives small files that suit photos and gradients; PNG is lossless and keeps text edges crisp, which is better for slides with fine type or diagrams. Each slide is rendered at the slide's own proportions, with text, tables, shapes, images and background exactly as the slide looks at rest; animations and video are not part of a still image. A presentation with a single slide comes back as one image; longer decks come back as a ZIP archive with one numbered image per slide, in slide order, so they drop straight into a gallery or a folder. Files from every version of Keynote are accepted, including Keynote '09 and presentations saved from iCloud.

The conversion runs on our servers over a secure connection and the upload is deleted within 60 minutes. Password-protected presentations must be unlocked in Keynote first. If you want to resize or compress the pictures afterward, Resize Image and Compress Image take the ZIP as it is; for a document rather than images, use Keynote to PDF, and for editable slides use Keynote to PowerPoint.
