Crop PDF

Trim margins from pages.

Crop PDF margins to remove wasted white space

A scanned book page often comes with wide margins and a visible edge of the scanner bed, and a slide deck exported to PDF can leave blank strips around the content. Crop PDF trims those margins so the page shows only what you want printed or displayed.

You set how many points to cut from the top, bottom, left, and right of each page, and the tool applies that trim across the document. All four values start at zero, so nothing is removed until you choose a number, giving you control over how tight the crop is rather than guessing. A page of typed notes might need only a few points shaved off each side, while a scan with a heavy border could need a much larger cut.

Where the file is processed

Smaller, straightforward PDFs are cropped right in your browser. Larger or more complex files go over a secure connection to the servers instead and are deleted within the hour, so you never have to wonder where the file went.

How to use the Crop PDF tool

  1. Add your PDF file: drag & drop or click to browse.
  2. Set your options: Top margin (pt), Bottom margin (pt), Left margin (pt), Right margin (pt).
  3. Click “Process Crop PDF” and download your result.
