Extract text from a PowerPoint deck as Markdown
A deck someone handed you holds content you need, whether that is talking points for a blog post, a status update to paste into a ticket, or notes you want searchable as plain text instead of locked inside slides. Copying each box by hand is tedious, and it is easy to miss a line hidden in the speaker notes.
Upload a .pptx file and the tool walks through every slide in order. Each slide's title becomes a heading, and its text boxes turn into paragraphs or bulleted lines that keep their original outline level. A table on a slide becomes a Markdown table with the same rows and columns, and speaker notes on a slide are added underneath as a quoted block, separated from the main content. There is nothing to configure; you upload the file and get one Markdown document with everything readable in it.
Pictures on slides cannot be carried into a text file, so they are left out, and the result tells you how many were skipped so you know to go back for anything visual you still need. If your deck relies heavily on diagrams, keep the original file open alongside the Markdown.
Your file is processed on the site's servers over an encrypted connection and deleted within 60 minutes. If you need the other direction, building slides from a Markdown outline, use Markdown to PowerPoint instead.
